Presided by Archbishop Thomas Wenski - November 17, 2016
Most Reverend Archbishop Thomas Wenski, appreciated priests and dear faithful of our Parish. Today we are living a very special moment, fruit of our faith, the growth as a community of love and compromise with the gift received from God: Today we present to God, to the Archbishop and to our Parish community, the renovation of the sanctuary, humble expression of our love for God and the Church. It is not only the act of renewing the exterior, but rather an invitation to constantly transform our interior and live the way the Apostle Paul tells the Ephesians: “Blessed be God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all the spiritual blessings of heaven in Christ. Thus he chose us in Christ before the world was made to be holy and faultless before him in love…” (Ephesians 1, 3-4). This place is Holy, but the interior Temple is also renewed day by day, until achieving the height of Sainthood and perfection to which our Lord invites us in Mathew 5, 48: “So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect”.
